These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Jolna — the mobile app and website operated by Jolna ("we", "our", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree, you must not use Jolna.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Jolna. By using the service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are between 13 and 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must:
- Provide accurate information when registering
- Keep your password secure and not share it with others
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe have been compromised.
You agree not to use Jolna to:
- Store, share, or link to content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or create derivative products from our service without permission
- Use the service in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our infrastructure
- Transmit spam, malware, or any harmful code
Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension without notice.
You retain ownership of any URLs, notes, tags, and collections you save in Jolna ("Your Content"). By using the service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, transmit, and process Your Content solely to provide the service to you.
We do not claim ownership of Your Content. We do not review, sell, or use Your Content for advertising.
You are solely responsible for ensuring Your Content does not violate applicable law or the rights of others.
The Jolna name, logo, app design, and all original software and content created by us are our exclusive intellectual property. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of Jolna without our express written consent.
We aim to keep Jolna available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features or the service at any time, with or without notice.
We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from service unavailability or changes to the service.
Jolna is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Use of Jolna is at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, revenue, or profits — arising from your use of or inability to use Jolna, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You may stop using Jolna and delete your account at any time from the app (Profile → Delete account).
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms or for any other legitimate operational reason. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of Jolna after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the jurisdiction in which we operate.
